The 4 Daily S’s of Being a Man

Being a man has a lot of requirements and duties. Mowing the grass, providing for the family, changing the oil in the car, putting up the Christmas lights, etc. However, there are 4 essential things that a man needs to do DAILY. These are “The 4 Daily “S”s of Being a Man”.
1. Sh*t – While this may seem crude, the reality is that a good daily sh*t is the mark of a healthy man. To do this daily, you must eat well and get a little exercise both of which are important to being a man.

2. Shower – They say cleanliness is next to Godliness but the truth is nobody wants to be next to someone that doesn’t shower daily. As a man, showering daily is not only good hygiene, but it shows that you care about other people. You want to be comfortable around them and you want them to be comfortable around you.
3. Shave – Shaving doesn’t mean no facial hair, but it does mean being clean cut and having a smooth face for the person you love. It shows your significant other that you want her to get close to you and that you want to be close to her.
4. Spend time with God – This one takes the least amount of physical effort yet is the hardest to do. We can find daily time for coffee, video games, watching TV, walking the dog, going out with our friends, but we can’t find a few minutes each day to spend with God. These quiet moments can be the most important time of the day. Maybe we combine them with one of the other “S”s or maybe we spend it with a friend, but usually we don’t do it at all. Being a man means making time daily for God.

“Lord, help me be the man you want me to be, healthy and happy and following in your ways. Amen”
